Our Story

From the wide-open landscapes of Wyoming to the delicate artistry of hand-dyed silk, my journey as a textile designer has always been rooted in a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty. Growing up on a ranch, I was surrounded by the rich colors, intricate patterns, and timeless craftsmanship of Native American textiles. Those early influences sparked my lifelong love of fabric, texture, and natural dyes—leading me to create Blue Poppy Silks, where sustainability and artistry go hand in hand.

For me, textiles are more than just materials; they are storytellers. I believe in creating beauty from the beauty of plants, using botanical dyes to craft silk ribbons and textiles that honor the earth and the traditions of handmade craftsmanship. Sustainability isn’t just a practice—it’s the heart and soul of Blue Poppy Silks. Every piece is carefully made with eco-conscious methods, ensuring that elegance and responsibility coexist in perfect harmony.

Whether gracing a wedding bouquet, enhancing an heirloom invitation, or bringing a soft, organic touch to interiors, my designs are meant to be cherished—woven with nature’s hues, inspired by the land that first sparked my passion, and made to stand the test of time.
